Types of Content Accepted
Narrative/episodic/serialized content of any genre, style, and type: comedy, drama, thriller, scripted, unscripted, documentary, social media, influencer, short form,"half-hour", "hour-long", radio, podcast, reality, talk show, game show, animation, kids, gaming, VR, mobile, etc.
Short films under 15 minutes in length may be submitted in the minisodic category.
Projects can be in any stage of development: pitch, script, in-production, post-production, or completed.
Your project can have any number of episodes. Projects with a produced runtime of 14-minutes or less per episode will be considered "short form" and placed in the minisodic category. Individual episodes cannot be greater than 70 minutes in length.

Catalyst has two submission paths. Choose the pathway that is best for you based on what you want to achieve with your projects:
(1) The Storieroad Institute. Includes festival submission, Creator VIP festival badge, plus consideration for pitch meetings, development meetings, jobs board access and more.
(2) The Festival Only ($59/project). Includes only the festival submission.

FESTIVAL CONSIDERATION ONLY
If you are only interested in festival screenings and awards, and do not want to participate in the Storieroad meetings and events, then you can submit your project via Film Freeway before May 31st.
Please note: to be fair to all content creators, we do not offer fee waivers. All projects must go through the submission and selection process.
